昔、そろばんを習ってましたが、今、家にもないです。
私の頭の中のそろばんも、だんだん消えつつあります（涙）
英辞郎で調べると「３Rs/reading, writing, reckoning」
読み書き算数 Reading, wRiting and aRithmeticもありました。

３つの似ている単語（アメリカ英語では用法が違う）
ensure 何か行動を取る、何かが起こるとと保証する
=to make certain that something will happen properly [= make sure]:
assure 似ているが、他の誰かを心地よくさせるような語を用いる
=to tell someone that something will definitely happen or is definitely true so that they are less worried [= reassure]
insure 普通ビジネス英語、起こることを保証する
=to buy insurance so that you will receive money if something bad happens to you, your family, your possessions etc:
an awards incentive 励みとなる賞
形容詞として使う場合も複数形
awards ceremony 授賞式
drive something home （強調、推し進める感じ）理解させる
=to make something completely clear to someone:
drive a point home 要点を理解させる、明確にする
