まさにタイムリーな話題。

credentials (複）経歴、信用証明書
street cred 放送ではstreet credentialsという説明でしたが、
it means you have some kind of believability out on the main streets.
英辞郎ではstreet cred=street credibilityとなっていました。
fill someone's shoes 人の代役を十分に果たす、前任者が築いたレベルに達する
似たような表現 step into someone's shoes （人の）跡をつぐ、（人の）後釜にすわる
しかし、前任者同様にうまくやるという意味はない
by way of introduction 紹介すると
come out of retirement 引退生活から仕事に復帰する
keep pace with the rising cost of living 生活費の上昇についていく
sluggish ゆっくりとした、のろいーゆっくり動かないー否定的
slug ナメクジ、のろのろとしたもの（人）
You could also call a lazy person a "sluggard", or even a "laggard" the same ending.
Although "laggard" focuses a little more on being last.
sluggard 怠け者
laggard 遅れる人、のろま、怠慢な人
resorceful 機知に富んだ
cut corners (肯定的）手間、無駄を省く
the quickest, easiest or cheapest way of doing something
（否定的）手抜きをする
to criticize someone for not doing a better job
easy credit 簡単な融資、金融緩和
=easy credit terms 支払いやすいクレジット条件
nowadays, if you look "easy credit" up on the Internet, you're often directed to the phrase "predatory lending", which actually sounds much more negative, even though it's pretty much the same phenomena.
predatory lending 略奪的な貸付（融資）貸付業者が借り手に高い利率や貸付費用などを強いる融資を行うやり方ー否定的
easy payment 月賦、分割払い
the sky is the limit 青空は果てしなく青い、際限ない
as if there were no tomorrow. 明日がないように
Thrift has gripped household 各家庭に倹約が浸透している
tighten one's belt 倹約する
cash and carry 現金持ち帰り制（主義）

direct deposit (米）（銀行口座への）振込み制度
direct transfer 直接送金
