Bye bye cold.Hello Cabo!!Here we come!!

 Are you leaving me in NY again?
Hey, Don't complain... We spend so much $$ for your boarding.



The early morning flight is worse.
I don’t have time for anything.
And I have to get back from the trip to a messy home.
This trip, we leave NY in night and stay at LA hotel one night.
Well, girls and I don’t mind spend one night at the LAX’s lobby.
But John will scream his head off.
It is always nice to sleep on a comfortable bed anyway.
(John still complains about the bed at Maui’s B&B.
The bed was not good as a bed in good hotels. He is spoiled.)

We will meet up with Amy in LA and fly to Cabo.
The only concern is the weather.
It seems many cities got bad weather last few days.
I hope our flight won’t be delayed or canceled.

We are renting a two bedroom and two bath cottage in Cabo.
It will be cheaper than staying in two rooms at hotel.
We already paid for whole stay.
It is a direct transaction between the owner and us.
I think John is little worry about this arrangement.
I did check out the owner on the web.
It seems he is a REAL person in San Francisco CA.
If anything goes wrong, we can stay on the beach. Hehe..

US$ is getting weaker than ever.
It will be horrible when I travel to Japan.
One $ is 87yen now.
That is almost 20% cheaper than this February.

However US $ is stronger against Mexico Peso.

Cabo´s plastic surgeons, doctors and dentists have been featured on Discovery Channel and TV Make-over shows, Good Morning America TV, NBC Today Show and in the NY Times.
Often entire families come and visit each year for their dental cleanings, fillings, crowns and dentures and vacationing free with their savings with some clinics reporting that over 80% of their patients are Americans and Canadians with a sprinkling of Europeans.
Porcelain crowns run $800 to $2,200US in American big cities but are a fraction of that here.
One Washington State woman recently rented a house for a month on the Sea of Cortez for her spouse and six kids to vacation in while she had twenty-seven crowns made saving the family over $25,000 dollars!

Maybe we can vacation to Cabo every year or we just retire there.



寒いNYから常夏のカボ・サンルーカス（メキシコ）へ行ってきます。
早朝の便は慌しくて家の中もひっくり返ったままで出かけることになり
旅行から疲れて帰ってきて脱ぎ捨てたパジャマなどを拾うのはウンザリ。
それで私は夜の便が好きです。
今回は夜ニューヨークを発ってロサンジェルスの空港ホテルで一泊。
娘達とギリシャ旅行の帰り空港で一晩過ごしたのですが
ジョンと一緒では空港で一泊過ごすのは無理。
未だにマウイのB&Bのベットがホテルのベットほど快適でなかったと文句を言っています。全く！！　身なりには無頓着なのにベットに拘るのですよね。

翌朝エミと空港で落ち合ってカボに発ちます。

犬達は又獣医さんの所でお留守番です。
（それにしても旅行の度、犬たちの宿泊費痛いですね。）

ドル安でアメリカから日本に行く時は困りますが
メキシコのペソの方がドルよりもっと安くなっているようです。

最近カボ・サンルーカスに医療を兼ねてのバケーションに行くアメリカ人が増えているとTVで取り上げれれています。

医療設備も技術もアメリカと比べても遜色しないらしいです。
特に歯の治療と美容整形はアメリカと比べて非常に安いらしいです。
アメリカでは保険に加入していない人が沢山います。
保険に加入していても保険でカバーされない治療が多く自己負担が大きいです。
特に歯の治療は高額で在米の日本人が
日本へ帰国中に歯の治療をするという話を聞きます。

カボでの治療はアメリカより最高７割まで安いので
節約になるだけでなくバケーション費も浮くと言うのですから
人気があるわけですね。

とは言っても私達にとっては初めてのカボなので
今回は純粋なバケーションです。
次回からは歯の治療にカボに行こうかしら？
いっその事カボで老後を過ごしたら・・・。
