Tensions between India and Pakistan are running high following the terror attacks in Mumbai, India, that left at least 172 people dead and hundreds wounded. On November 26, a group of gunmen began a series of coordinated attacks on a number of landmarks and luxury hotels in Mumbai as well as a Jewish center there. India’s security forces captured one of the gunmen, and he claims to belong to the Pakistani militant group Lashkar-e-Taiba, which has ties to the disputed region of Kashmir. Pakistan’s government denies any involvement in the attacks and has agreed to cooperate fully with the Indian investigation.
