Tuesday, May 31, 2011Up at 5. Strong wind.Yesterday, reviewed the elementary mathematics/phyics/chemistry.5時起床。強風。昨日は、数学・物理学・化学の初歩を復習した。初歩や基本というのは、深く学んでいくと理解するのが難しいです。中学生や高校生のときは、「初歩なんて簡単だ」とたかをくくっていたんですが、それは僕の大きな誤りでした。

Rainy.Harvested six mandarin oranges in summer yesterday.They were sweet and delicious.2時起床。雨。昨日は夏みかんを6個収穫した。甘くておいしかった。庭に生えている木に、たくさんの甘夏みかんが生りました。母から頼まれて、高枝切バサミで収穫しました。ネットの和英辞典で「夏みかん」を調べたら、1．mandarin oranges in summer2. citrus natudaidai（学名）3. a Chinese citron4. summer orange5. bitter summer oranga(mandarin)という4~5個の言い方があるとのことでした。

Monday, May 16, 2011Up at 2:30.Stayed up till late last night.Talked with my father about politics, economy, management, biology, real estate, and the law until midnight.While talked, a new idea occurred of me.2時半起床。昨夜は遅くまで起きていた。政治、経済、経営、植物、動物、不動産、法律について、深夜まで父と話し合った。話をしているうちに、新しいアイデアが生まれてきた。昨夜はTV番組「JIN～仁～」を視聴した。考え事をしながらうわのそらで見ていたので、内容を見過ごしているところが多かった。

Last night slept at 9:00, woke up at midnight.Saw and heard NHK Senior High School lecture of TV in a net.It was chemistry and mathematics that had learned.Learned about the chemistry of alkali metal、and the mathematics of a fraction.Jogged this morning for 15 minutes from half past 6.The weather is cloudy.It is slightly hot and humid. 昨夜は9時に寝て、深夜0時に目覚めた。NHK高校講座をネットで視聴した。学んだのは、化学と数学。化学はアルカリ金属、数学は分数だった。今朝は6時半から15分間ジョギングをした。天気は曇り。少し蒸し暑い。

Fine.Jogged for 15 minutes.The morning glow was beautiful.Sweated a little.It is pleasant when running.Have understood the muscle of my knee has been strengthened. 4時半起床。晴れ。15分間ジョギングをした。少し汗をかいた。気持ちがいい。ひざの筋肉が強化されているのがわかった。 昨日学んだ英単語＆表現mollusc: n. 軟体動物age: n. 長い間reinforce: vt. 強める、補強する、補充する 今朝は友人のSさんに、速度についての個人授業をしました。 昨日は、平均ピストン速度、回転体の周速度、速度＆時間線図と走行距離、加速度、減速度について学習。問題集の問題を解きました。中学や高校の理科・物理・数学が、こういうところで活用されていることがわかり、うれしくなりました。工学も面白いな。 夜はTVドラマ「JIN～仁～」を視聴。咲（＝綾瀬はるか）の演技が気に入りました。

Fine.今朝は友人に分数を教えました。分数を教えるのは、結構難しいです。時間をかけて、ゆっくりと、たくさんの練習問題を解いていくしかないみたい。易しめの問題を選んでいます。

Cloudy.昨日は友人と本屋へ。算数・英語・理科のドリルを買ってきました。大人になってから、小学校・中学校の学習の復習をします。僕は家庭教師役。彼がどのくらい学力を伸ばせるか、興味津々。数年後には、通信制の高校生・大学生か、あるいは語学（英語）留学生になってもらえたらうれしいんですが。。。。彼の勉強のお手伝いをすることで、自分も忘れていたことの復習になるし、教育という営みを経験することになりました。家庭教師をするのは、何年ぶりかです。ソロバンも、挑戦してみようかな。。。。
