The next day I returned home from S.F., I got up at 6:30 for Tai Chi class. As a matter of fact, this is the reason I came home on Monday. As soon as the class was over we rushed to a restaurant in Laguna Beach. No, we didn’t go for a breakfast.
Gregg’s solo show is held at a restaurant on Forest Avenue (some say Rodeo drive of Laguna Beach) until the end of May, so we went to help install paintings. Joanne, a gallery owner, does extra shows at different locations like this besides her own gallery. “Could you guys come and help us because we have to finish installing everything before 10a.m.?”She asked.
Gregg had done another solo show at a large restaurant in Pasadena a few years before. In America it is quite popular to have shows in restaurants. This is not a bad idea because restaurant can enjoy different arts free, or make sales percentage in some cases, and artists will have exposure to public eyes.
