Japanese people used to think that Japan is such a safe country.
Perhaps, it was safer than nowadays but parents are always worried how they could protect own kids from danger at any period.
Cole and I went to a drug store today. We had only 15 minutes left until Noel's school bus arrived so we were kind of in hurry,
BUT!
this typical 2 year old son wanted to push shopping cart, wanted to put the shopping basket on the check out counter,
Then, the srore manager gave him some sweets because this little good boy was helping his mommy with shopping .
Cole thanked the manager and kept saying with lovely smile
"Thank you! You know what? I am not allowed to eat this because you are a stranger. My mommy gets soooooooooo angry if I eat something from a stranger so I keep them in my hand."
He is right... but he didn't have to tell him face to face...
However, it was good to know that he understood that something bad might happen if he followed a stranger, especially when he was NOT with his mommy and daddy.
