The rule 2 to write in English easy to understand….

Don’t use the phrase “I think”.

That phrase means an expression of uncertainty.

The most conspicuous example is the phrase
“I think I want to…”.

You may puzzled and say
“Don’t you know even your feelings?!”.

And “I think it is all right.”
produces ambiguity of the judgment.

「思う=I think」はなるべく使わない.

その最たるものが「~したいと思います」である.
こんな風に言われたら
「自分の気持ちも分からないのか?!」と
怪訝そうな表情をされてしまう.

「よいと思います」の場合も“I think it is all right”
としてしまっては「よい」という判断にかげりが出てしまう.
