Real Estate as the Proof Point

Real estate is the world’s largest asset class, estimated at over $300 trillion globally. It is also one of the most fragmented, paperwork-heavy, and trust-dependent markets in existence.
不動産は世界最大の資産クラスであり、世界全体で300兆ドル（約4.5京円）以上と試算されている。また、最も細分化され、書類手続きが多く、信頼依存度の高い市場の1つでもある。

That combination makes real estate both the most obvious candidate for tokenization and the easiest place for tokenization to fail.
この組み合わせにより、不動産はトークン化の最も明白な候補であると同時に、最もトークン化が失敗しやすい場にもなっている。

On the same panel, Propy shared how they are already executing real-world, on-chain property transactions today.

Propy is a tech-driven, licensed title and escrow company that uses blockchain and AI to streamline real estate transactions. Their platform reduces closing costs, compresses settlement timelines from weeks to hours, and creates transparent, automated transaction flows.

Rather than focusing on speculative fractional ownership, Propy has pioneered non-fractional tokenized real estate, where a single token represents a single property and transfers ownership directly on chain while remaining compliant with existing legal frameworks.

In short, Propy is solving transactional execution.

But execution alone is not enough.

The Data Layer Real Estate Tokenization Depends On

Tokenizing a property without verified underlying data simply digitizes risk. Tokenizing property with governed, provable data creates the conditions for automation, liquidity, and trust at scale.

Public and Private Systems Must Interoperate

Another theme that surfaced repeatedly during the discussion was the convergence of public and private sector systems.

As tokenization accelerates, massive pools of illiquid value will become programmable. That shift will not be driven by novelty, but by infrastructure that can withstand scrutiny.

Tokenization is not about putting assets on chain.　It is about making the truth around those assets undeniable.
