Yesterday we went on a driving trip to Twin Ring Motegi in Motegi, Tochigi prefecture. If you are a car lover, I'm sure you know that Motegi circuit is famous for Indy car races and other domestic/international motor sports. And one more attraction is a motor sports museum managed by Honda. Here you are able to see Honda=MacLahren F1 car that deceased Aryton Sena rode. You can seemany other cars and motor bikes as well, too. Here you can also see a 2 legged walking android robot, ASHIMO. Since hiroro's research is robotics and giving eye sight AIs to robots, he was very excited to see ASIMO very closely. Luckily, we were able to control his movements and we were very excited! Until yesterday, I didn't really understand alot about hiroro's research. But through watching ASIMO, I was able to understand a bit more about what he was actually researching. In this sense, it was a very fullfilling Sunday.
