スペイン語翻訳業務で辞書の例文にはまる(その２：多言語情報起業家修行；英語・フランス語ほか)
(追って他言語でＵＰします)(1-Japanese)仕事モードでスペイン語の文章に接すると、他のラテン系言語と比べても目立つのが「時制の細やかさ」だと思いました。翻訳業務ではこれらを繊細に訳し分ける能力が求められるわけです。。(1-English)Being exposed to a text in Spanish at work I realizedit is the language with such a variety of conjugation of verbs following the tense, as compared with other romance languages. And translators should be alert on it, carefully reflecting the distinction.

メルマガもバイリンガルで(多言語アーティスト修行；英語・ロシア語ほか)
(追って他言語でＵＰします)(1-Japanese)第7号で実験的にメルマガテキストをバイリンガルで書いたのですが、「四次元メソッド」の話に戻った今号以降も日英対訳で書くことにしました。(1-English)I experimentally offered a bilingual text on theissue No.7 of the mail magazine, and I determined to keepthe style starting No.8 that I have issued a while ago,in which I went back to the original theme.(2-Japanese)メルマガはブログのようにテキストを簡単に修正することができないので(一応、修正機能はあるんですが、ログインのタイムリミット60分というのがネックになってるんですね)これまでメルマガもバイリンガルで書きたいと思いつつ躊躇していました。(2-English)While I was wishing to give English equivalents tothe magazine text just I do here, I hesitated because of theissuing functions that is less flexible for text revision.Actually issuers can correct the text once they have made it,but the login time limit of 60 minutes hampers them to takesuch actions. (3-Japanese)しかし、当のメルマガにおいて「日頃からバイリンガルで思考する」ことを提案していながらそのテキストを日本語ばっかりで書き連ねてきたことに対して、自身かなり落ち着かなくなってきたのです。。(3-English)But I've gotten quite uncomfortable issuing monolingual-based ones that seems contradictory to what I proposed in the magazine itself---to accustom oneself to thinking bilingually in everyday life.

適正体重？(多言語アーティスト修行；英語・中国語ほか)
(1-Japanese)おたふく風邪にかかったおかげで体重が減ってしまいました。しかしそのせいか、週数のわりに体が軽くなった気がします。そっくり返らなくても歩けるし、歩いても疲れにくくなりました。(1-English)Due to the mumps I had poor appetite last week andhave lost weight. But it seems it has brought some favorable effecton me---I feel less physical burden now while I have only two months to go before the due date. やっと頭も復活したかな(ポリグロットアート修行；英語・スペイン語ほか)
(1-Japanese)先週はおたふく風邪のおかげで生産的なことがほとんどできませんでしたが、やっと心身とも元に戻ってきました。(1-English)Through the past week I could hardly do anything productive due to the mumps, but now I feel much better.(1-Spanish)No podía hacer nada productivo toda la semana pasadaa causa de la parotiditis, pero ahora siento mucho mejor.(2-Japanese)きょうは耳鼻科の診察と30週の超音波健診のため長時間病院にいなければならなかったのですが、その間を利用して「４次元メソッド」教材の大まかなアウトラインをまとめることができました。(2-English)Today I had to stay in the university hospital for hoursto see an otorhinolaryngologist as well as an obstetrician for 30weeks' maternity checkup. Taking advantage of the time I was at thewaiting room I was putting together the rough outline of the "Four-dimensional (language learning) method".(2-Spanish)Hoy tenía que quedarme en el hospital durante muchas horas para consultar un otorrinolaringólogo y hacer una ecografíapara mujeres encintas de 30 semanas en la obstetricia. Aprovechando el tiempo de esperarlos estuve haciendo resumen esquemático del"Metódo de cuatro dimensiones (para aprender idiomas)".

親子でおたふく^_^;;(ポリグロットアート修行；英語・ポルトガル語他)
(追って他言語でＵＰします)(1-Japanese)月曜夕方におたふく風邪を発症しました。次女の保育園で流行っていたものです。以来、「分娩陣痛が顔に来たような」激痛と頭痛が断続的に続き、顔はいまだひどく腫れていて今ばかりはブルカでも着て歩きたい気分です。。(1-English)I got mumps that has been going around in the nurseryschool and since Monday evening I am suffering from intermittentpain around the ears as well as in the head, the former was sosevere as if the labor pain had come on the face. Still my facemiserably swells; for a while I feel like wearing burka orsomething that muffles my face when going outside. (2-Japanese)今、やっと頭痛がおさまったので４日ぶりにパソコンの電源を入れることができました。連絡不能だったため多大なご迷惑をおかけ致しましたm(__)m(2-English)Anyway right now I am free from the headache so I wasable to get access to my PC for the first time for four days.I must apologize that I failed to contact or respond to anyoneduring this week.(3-Japanese)ちなみに、次女も水曜に発症して40度近く発熱し、次郎柿みたいな顔になっていますが痛みは私よりはずっと軽いようです。(3-English)My second daughter Mao, by the way, also got thedisease and showed symptoms since Wednesday, having fever closeto 40 degree celcius. She looks like a persimmon with comicallysquare cheeks but does not have that much pain as her mother's.

四次元的には片付いている部屋？(その２：ポリグロットアート修行；英語・フランス語)
(1-Japanese)つまり私に言わせれば、私たち人間は三次元の現実世界に生きていますが、思考、つまり心の中では四次元を生きることができるのではないでしょうか。。(1-English)I cite this example because I suppose we human beingshave four-dimensional space inside us; that is, we can "live" in four-dimensional space while we are living in three-dimensional world in reality... (1-Japanese)机周りをちょっと片付けたら頭の中も整理された気分になりました。(1-English)I got things around my desk tidied and it made mefeel as if my brain had gotten organized.(1-German)Ich habe mein Zimmer aufgeordnet und es hat mich als ob mein hirn auch werde aufgeordnet gemacht.(2-Japanese)実は私は「片付けられない女」で身内に悪名高いのです^_^;;家の中は、私の頭の中では「もうすぐ片付ける」ものが散らかってばかり。これってつまり「四次元的には片付いてるけど三次元的(＝現実)には散らかっている」んですね；；(2-English)I must confess that I have been notorious among familymembers for leaving rooms messy in my house. There are things scattered, which"are going to be tidied up soon" for me.
