My colleague first recorded voices at a meeting by tape recorder, but its battery was run out in the middle of the meeting.
My colleague needed them to make a minute of this meeting.
I recorded it successfully, but it lasted about one hour so the size of the data was over 33 mb. Although I moved the data to my computer at home, I didn’t have a way to send it to my colleague. It was too big to upload to a free storage website, and I couldn’t attach it to an e-mail. If only my office’s computer was made by Sony, I could use my memory stick… Life was not so easy.
Finally, I exported it to my ipod mini.
When I finished exporting it, I thought “what did I do it for???” Then I talked to myself, I did it for 1. to save my personal data, it is not safe because anyone can see my schedule and address book if I let somebody to use my CLIE, and 2. it is much easier to use ipod than CLIE. But I am still looking for a good reason why I did it! Who knows???
