(Synopsis)

In previous book of "Speaker for the Dead", Ender wandered around the space to find appropriate planet to revive the Hive Queen.
At last he reached a planet named "Lusitania", where another alien "piggies" lives.
Ender at last discovered the mysterious life cycle of piggies, ratified a contract, released the Hive Queen, and "Lusitania" became a precious word of tripartite culture.

However, in "Xenocide", the starways congress sent a fleet to destroy every habitants of Lusitania in the fear of spreading fatal virus called "descolada".
How could Ender and Lusitanins stop those fleet destroying their planet?
Are there any ways to humans and buggers and piggies to live?

(Review)
When the previous book, Speaker for the Dead, was a mystery of biology, this book, xonocide, is a story of philosophy.
Where have our conscious come form? What does faith mean?
How can we live with totally alien cultures?

Though with heavily philosophical story, author done excellent job in writing that it is not boring at all but very exiting through whole story.
