安全安心の日本を訴求するためには、下記のような情報発信も多少は役に立っているのでしょうか。早急に原発問題を解決することも含め、何かもっと必要な気もします。

＜Message from the Ministrｙ of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism＞

Today Japan is taking a united stand against the challenge of the tremendous damage caused by the 2011 Tohoku - Pacific Ocean Earthquake followed by the massive tsunami on 11 March 2011, and by the nuclear power plant accident triggered by the tsunami. Taking this opportunity, we would like to express our sincere gratitude for the domestic and international support in this recovery process.

All the airports in Japan, including four major airports, Narita, Tokyo International (Haneda), Kansai (Osaka) and Central Japan/Centrair (Nagoya), and with the exception of Sendai which was directly affected by the tsunami, have been operating normally and functioning as the bases for the rescue and reconstruction of the disaster-stricken areas since the immediate aftermath of the earthquake. Currently, there is no restriction on landings and take-offs of all aircraft, regardless of international or domestic, scheduled or non-scheduled, including a number of rescue service aircraft transporting aid supply filled with goodwill from all over the world.

In addition, areas critically affected by the nuclear power plant accident are limited, and radiation at a level that has harmful effects on human health has not been detected at any airports in Japan.

Based on those observations, authoritative international organizations such as the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the World Health Organization (WHO) have declared that there is at this stage no need for imposing restrictions on travel to Japan from the professional perspective, judging from the objective facts and their scientific knowledge.

＜国土交通省からのメッセージ＞

現在、日本は、去る３月１１日に発生したマグニチュード９．０の地震、それに続く大規模な津波、さらに津波による原子力発電所の事故など、未曾有の規模の災害に立ち向かっています。この過程において、これまでに国内外から示された多大なる善意に心から感謝申し上げます。

我が国の空港は、津波の直接の被害を受けた仙台空港を除き、震災直後から通常の運用となっており、我が国の復興に向けた拠点として機能しています。国際線・国内線の定期便、臨時便、チャーター便が通常通りの運航を続けているほか、各国・地域からの善意を載せた多くの救援機も離着陸しています。

また、原子力発電所の災害も、その影響は限られた範囲に限られており、各空港においては健康上の問題を惹起するレベルの放射線は検出されていません。

以上を踏まえ、国際民間航空機関（ＩＣＡＯ）や国際航空運送協会（ＩＡＴＡ）といった権威ある国際機関も、専門的な立場から客観的事実と科学的知見に基づき、我が国への渡航制限は必要ない旨、発信しています。
