One of them almost nobody is talking about yet

Most people are glued to what the market did this week. I get it — it’s hard not to be. But the investors who actually get wealthy are the ones who zoom out, pick the right themes early, and stay patient while everyone else is reacting to noise.

I’ve been spending a lot of time thinking about where the world is actually headed — not in five minutes, but in five to ten years.
私は、世界が実際にどこへ向かっているのかについて多くの時間を使って考えてきた。 5分後ではなく、5〜10年後の話だ。

Here are seven areas I think are going to create serious wealth for the people who position themselves correctly right now.

1. Robotics and Automation

This one is obvious once you see it, but most people are still underestimating the scale of it.

Self-driving cars aren’t a pipe dream anymore — they’re on the road. And this isn’t going to stay optional. Autonomous driving is cheaper and safer than human driving, which means companies will be forced to adopt it and regulators will eventually mandate it. The investment plays here aren’t just Tesla or Uber. It’s the entire component layer that goes into building these systems — sensors, chips, software stacks. That supply chain is enormous and mostly ignored.
自動運転車はもはや夢物語ではない — すでに道路を走っている。そしてこれは任意のままでは終わらない。自動運転は人間の運転より安くて安全だから、企業は導入を迫られ、最終的には規制当局が義務化するだろう。ここでの投資対象は Tesla や Uber だけではない。センサー、チップ、ソフトウェアスタックなど、これらのシステムを構築するためのコンポーネント層全体だ。そのサプライチェーンは巨大だが、ほとんど無視されている。

Rare earth mineral extraction is another one. About 80% of the cost in that industry is labor. Companies are now automating the physical extraction process — moving operators from the field into control rooms where they run excavators remotely. That cost structure transformation is going to be massive.
レアアース（希土類）採掘も同じだ。この産業のコストの約80%は労働力だ。企業は今、物理的な採掘プロセスを自動化している — 作業員を現場からコントロールルームに移し、遠隔で掘削機を操作させるようになっている。このコスト構造の変化は非常に大きい。

And then there’s humanoid robots. This is the biggest one. We’re essentially teaching machines to think, see, and operate in human environments. They’re going to be in warehouses, offices, and eventually homes — folding laundry, making food, walking dogs. Most of the leading companies are still private right now — Unitree, Figure AI, 1X, Apptronik. When they hit the public markets, the FOMO buying is going to be intense. The time to understand this theme is before that moment, not during it.

Amazon already has 750,000 robots working alongside 1.5 million humans. That ratio is going to flip. The companies supplying the robotics infrastructure into those facilities are going to capture a lot of that value.
