On November 29th, I went photographing special trains for tourists on Yokosuka Line operated by E235 Series, the new carriage on Yamanote Line which would debut on the next day. The special trains ran twice, first from Shinagawa to Kamakura and second from Yokosuka to Shinagawa. It was first time for E235 Serieis to carry passengers.
Expecting the crowdedness at Kita-kamakura Station, I chose Higashi-zushi Station to photograph. On my way there, I saw the crowdedness from the window of Yokosuka Line train. At Higashi-zushi, five or six photographers already waited for the train.
At first, I shot the one of out-of-service train after the first travel and prepared to the second.
Then, I promptly moved to the opposite platform to prepare for the photographing the train's backing. A few minutes later, many photographers got off from a Yokosuka Line train and the platform became crowded like Kita-kamakura.
Waiting for about 30 minutes, the train came back on time. In the first shot, the carriage indicated "EXTRA", but the second it did "PARTY". On that day, Mt.Fuji was seen behind me and I also photographed the train from the back and the mountain.
