Last year, there were full of word " kizuna " ("bonds" or "ties") in Japan, for better or for worse:
Due to 3.11 earthquake, there have been various bonds strengthened and various bonds torn apart.
And various musicians have written songs expressing about bonds; bonds of friendship, family ties...and life continued generation by generation.
This album could also be the one, as the title " Te to te " (hand and hand) shows.
Besides, Kana Uemura
She experienced 1.17 Kobe earthquake in her childhood. (See Jan. 16, 2012)
After she grew up to be a popular singer, there was 3.11 earthquake.
" Himawari " (sunflower) is dedicated to survivors in the stricken area.
It took time for Kana to raise in popularity until " Toireno kamisama " (the god of the toilet) became a smash hit.
"Toireno kamisama" is a song about her memories with Grandmother.
And again, songs about family are included in this album; " Sekaiichi gohan " (mom's cooking, the best food in the world) Chimugukuru ".
" Kimito boku " (you and me) and " Gomenne. " (I'm sorry)
" My Favorite Songs " is about her wish that her songs would be "favorite songs" and supports for someone one day, just like favorite songs for Kana .

Excluding Sing Like Talking and Toshiki Kadomatsu families, I think she is the first musician I placed more than one CD on "Favorite" .
