2002年にリリースされたコールドプレイの曲で、アルバム A Rush Of Blood To The Head『静寂の世界』に収録されています。

英語タイトルと日本語のタイトルが随分違うアルバムは数々ありますが、これもその類いですね。

A Rush Of Blood To The Headは頭に血が上ってカーッとなるってこと。

アルバムの10曲目にこのタイトル曲が入っていて、以前ご紹介した『Clocks』もこのアルバムに入っています。

2003年の第45回グラミー賞でノラ・ジョーンズがいろんな賞を総なめにしたとき、最優秀オルタナティヴ・ミュージック・アルバム賞を受賞しました。

彼女と別れて辛くて辛くて、初めからやり直したい男の心情を切々と歌っていますね。

タイトルのサイエンティストは科学者という意味ですが、愛は科学では解明できない、もっと深いものだって思い知った感じでしょうか。
