Kamakura is a historic coastal town just an hour or so from Tokyo, and it's famous for its beautiful temples, beaches... and the Enoden!
The Enoden (short for Enoshima Electric Railway) is a charming little train that runs from Kamakura to Fujisawa. It's not just a way to get around – it's part of the experience.
The train is small, vintage-looking, and runs so close to the houses and streets that it feels like you're inside a Ghibli movie or a classic manga scene. Seriously, you’ve probably seen it in anime without even realizing it! かいひん荘鎌倉 There were a lot of tourists, especially around the more popular stops like Hase and Enoshima, but that just added to the fun atmosphere. Everyone seemed excited to be there, snapping photos and enjoying the ride.
It's a little adventure on rails – and totally unforgettable.
