According to the prediction on Mar. 14th, the flowering of cherry blossoms are going to be later than the first prediction on Mar. 7th
In some areas famous for cherry blossoms, they are upset that they have to change shedule for events.
In December 2006, I joined an international Christmas party hosted by my new friend. (See Dec. 11, 2006)
And I talked about 'bounenkai' with a young man from England.
Now I wonder how he would think of 'hanami' -cherry viewing picnic.
Many cherry viewing picnics are still hosted by companies and offices and saving spot for blossom viewing is a role of new employees in the office in many cases.
However, in March, most companies are in accounting term, so if cherry blossoms are in full bloom at the end of March, the organizers of company picnics can have trouble.
Anyway:
Many friends who have weblogs are placing pictures of cherry blossoms
