1. From last year, I've realized advertisements saying that both people who can drink and cannot drink must be esteemed for the sake of merry drinking parties .
At that late date, our nation found out that this is what drinking parties should be?
During Pandemic, many companies were obliged to stop drinking parties that they had taken it for granted.
For people who cannot drink or feel company's drinking parties are bothersome obligation as extension of work, this was favorable move; they were free from unwanted drinking parties.
On the other hand, people who used to enjoy drinking parties on workplace's expense began to realize that those parties are no more what they used to be :
Gone are the days when people who can drink were supposed to be greater,
They could blame their rude acts and violence and sexual harassment on alcohol,
Penal regulation on drunk drivers was too light,
Liquor was considered indispensable for flat communication.
They've found themselves getting tired of straining their nerves not to commit those mistakes.
What's the problem? It's just those MEN drinkers used to behave selfishly.

2. At the latest Lower-house election, current Ruling parties couldn't become the majority.
Since then, they began to discuss each policy they plan to get approved with other Opposition parties.
After the defeat at the election, at last, they learned to listen and accept humbly to different opinion and ideas of others ,
Which seemed that they had paid no account of when they were single-party majority and could behave promiscuously.
- Although they still care about plot how to exploit from general public shrewdly and benefit themselves and their hangers-on .

But now, we take it for granted that stores and restaurants in town open as usual.
It means employees are tied down during the period.
Some workers might have no family to spend holidays with, some might think it's better to work than spending time away with family.
But some might feel reproachful that they have to work and cannot enjoy holiday with family and friends.
However, gradually more and more major supermarkets and department stores close down during two or three days from New Year’s Day.

For the sake of those workers, I don't think general pause of retailers and restaurants around New Year’s Day is necessary
-On the condition that employees who work around New Year’s Day are given compensating holidays and extra pay.
Incidentally, although it's hasty to mention such thing today, Christmas days in this year are on weekday.
But employers MUST NOT set meetings and overtime work on Christmas days just because they are weekdays!
