＊末次哲学
１）学生さんには大いにプラスになればと思います。１）学生さんと社会人の大きな違いは、１つには「経営感覚」の有無です。人生や仕事を経営できるかどうか？－経営という発想でモノゴトを考えているかどうか？それが学生と社会人の際の1つと思います。２）経営感覚で大切な思考方法の１つは、「応用思考」です。どの分野に於いても、基本から応用して、諸事良い所を取入れて、発展・展開する事が大切です。ーー２）「忙しい時こそ、尚一層の余裕を持って」・「ピンチ時・困っている時、「笑顔」で応対」：これは私のモットーです。怒って圧力を掛ける腕ぷしの強い人よりは、笑顔のある柔らかい人の方が強いですね。私は短気なのでそれで失敗する事が多々あります。どんな時でも柔らかく対応する様に務めています。困ったときに、笑顔で対応できる人は真に心が強い人と思います。ーー３）英語や柔道など芸事・人生修練での私のモットーは「トレーニングは畳１枚で出来る」⇒畳１枚の広ささえあれば、創意工夫で、色々なトレーニング（20種類の腕立て、スクワットほか）が出来ます。高校時に確信した考えで、⇒『直心是道場』/英語では「硬貨での表現練習」に発展しました。問題解決のヒント、能力向上のヒントは、身近な所にあります。外部に向けがちな目を、身近なもの、自分の持ち物に向けてみましょう。そこに諸事解決・向上などのヒントがあります。また、自力で創意工夫が出来る様になります。ーー４）大阪商人を描くドラマ「あかんたれ」は、商売（商社発想）の教科書の様なドラマです：商売とは、【「心に灯火を灯す」もの】という件があります。自分が設けることだけを考える商売では失速も早いのです。弊所では通翻訳業務を通してお客様に喜んでいただき、また、その心の琴線に触れる業務を日々展開したいと思います。お客様にプラスになる商売をいつも心掛けています。難しいことかもしれませんが。実践すべきことです。ーー５）事は何よりも「実践第一」です。実践が最高の教科書であり、実践で色々と苦楽などを経験した後、しっかりした理論が付いて来ます。成功原理は【「天地自然の理」に沿っている事】です。つまり雨が降れば傘を差す様に、自然な流れが大事で、自然な流れに乗る、自然な流れを生み出す事が大切です。更に言えば、「天之利、時之利、地之利、人の和」この要素が揃っている時は物事は成功します。それも実践により体験して初めてこの事が判るでしょう。特に若い人は実践第一です。理屈よりも行動を起こすことです。ーーー６）宮本武蔵が『五輪書』で示した心得です：とくに若い人は参照・実践下さい。１．邪悪な事は考えない事。/２．道（自分の専門分野）で鍛錬の事。３．諸芸を体験する事。/４．諸職の道を知る事。/５．物事の損得を把握する事。６．諸事、目が利く様にする事。/７．目に見えない事を悟って知る事。/８．些細な事にも気を付ける事。/９．役に立たない事をしない事（⇒実利を求める）★３，４の様に色々な事を体験し、そこで、広い視野を体得し、モノを見る眼を養いましょう。９ですが、実利とは、生産活動です。つまり多少とも金銭的・精神的利益が生じる様に取り組む、という事ですね。ーーー７）夢や目標、何かの事業（project/plan）や商売（business)は、すぐに達成できたり、首尾よく展開できたりという事はありません。仮にすぐに規模が大きくなったり、何かを達成できるという事が発生した場合は、それは何かの歯車が狂っていて後からしっぺ返しが来ます。商社出身の私は、「商売は育て上げる」という考えです。物事とはすぐには軌道に乗りません。着想し、動き始めて、色々と軌道修正しつつ練り上げるものであり、練り上げる過程が必要です。その練り上げ期間が長いほど、あとから確実に成功できます。現代では、この練り上げ期間を軽視した風潮が根強いです。何か案があれば、早くそれに着手して、練り上げの時間を充分に長く持つ事が必要です。ーー８）兵法は戦いの哲学ですが、色々な分野に応用できる哲学です。幸い私は、＜将棋、柔道＞と文武の戦略活動を子どもの頃からしておりますので、今日があると思います。小手先の技術や目先の利益を決して追わない様にしています。生活でもお仕事でもその他でも「自分の得意」を全面に押し出して、「得意」を使って、道を切り拓く事が肝要です。途中で計画通りに行かなくなったり、上手く行かない兆しが僅かでもあれば早く対処をして、計画が上手く行く様に、段取りを行う事が肝要です。ーー９）私は「人まね」も嫌いですし、「人から真似される」のも嫌いです。人の真似をするしかないならそれをやめた方が良いと思っております。//最近は安易に他人の真似をする事例が多いです。真似は必要ですが、単純に真似をするのは良くありません。他の方がしている事をヒントに、そこに自分らしさを加えて独自の形を造り上げる事が大切です。常に、自分なりの創意工夫が必要で、その姿勢が、独創性や発想力を生み出します。ーー１０）今の日本の社会では、【１億総起業家時代】であるべきと思います。もはや、企業でお勤めするよりは、各自各自が、自分の得意を使って、創意工夫をして、自分でレールを敷き、そのレールを自力で進んでいく事が大切です。それが何よりの勉強になります。日本が色々な面で活性化するには1つの策と思います。私は英語で以って上記の事を実践しています。辛い時や失敗も様々ありますが、学ぶ点が非常に多く、全体的には充実しています。自分の得意を実利に絡ませて、自分で推進する事が大切です。人材教育も【才能ある生徒が、自分で道を切り開き、自分でその道を進められる様に、後押しだけする事」が大切です。私は若い弟子に対してはhands-onですが、頃合を見てhands-offに切り替えます。ーー１１）「鈍」という言葉が注目される世の中になりそうです。将棋の大山名人も述べていますが、伸びる人とは、鈍感な人の方が良いです。鈍感だからこそ、他の人に負けまいと他人の何倍も努力します。判らない事は素直に訊けます。また、失敗を沢山しますので、その中から色々と学んで後に活かす様にします。『鈍感力』という本が売れている様ですが、鈍くなる事も必要です。頭の回転が良すぎて、狭い世界に陥っている人が案外多いですね。私は、そうした人は好きではありませんし、哀れに思います。『大器は晩成します』。焦らずに力を蓄えたいですね。自分自身の道を自分の速度で進みましょう。ーー１４）私は大学生の頃、毎日、2時間位英語の稽古をしていました。それは、日本語文章を20題位英語に訳する練習をしていました。日英訳練習は英語力が付くと教授から直接アドバイスされて以来です。結局それが現在の私に結実しています。大学生は何よりも、勉強が最初に来るべきです。学問を通して見聞を広め、「人間性（魂）を磨く」事が大学生の仕事です。ですから、専門の分野で日々取り組む事が必要です。最低1時間は、自力で練習や稽古をしたいものです。私は、英文科でしたので、英語力をつけようと必死に取り組みました。英文科なのに仕事で英語も使えない、というのは、世間様に申し訳ないですね。どの分野でも、若い人は勿論、年を重ねても、一時間くらいは専門分野や興味ある分野で日々研鑚を積む事ですね。また、勉強とは机の上だけでするものではありません。むしろ表でするものですね。魂は、日々の勉強と練習で磨かれます。ーー１５）＊「何をするにしても、それを英語の練習と思って、その行いをしますと英語の練習に成ります」どの分野にも当てはまります。 日本語で話す際にも、それも英語の練習と思えば、英語の練習に成ります。特に外国語の場合は、情報や参照力がないと力が伸びませんので、色々と見聞を広げる事は必要です。ーー１６）物事は、何でもそれが英語の練習と思い、英語の練習として意識をして、取り組めば英語の練習になります。他の芸事でも同様ですです。日本語で意見を書く事も立派な英語練習です。日本語で意見を言えないテーマを英語で語れ！といわれても出来ません。言語を問わず、意見そのものが本人に無いので、外国語でも日本語でも何か言えるという事はありません。ですから、見聞を広げ、私見をつくる事、日本語で意見を新聞に出したり、日記を書いたりしたら、そのテーマに付いては私見を外国語で言える様になります。新聞投稿は視座を広げ、また、１千円ー２千円ですが、報酬もありますので一石五鳥と思います。

訳し方
さて、講義です 英語を日本語に訳す場合は、それまでの学校での英語授業の影響でしょうか、１）堅苦しい訳２）意味が判らない訳 が多いです。 もっと、砕けて訳する様にしないと英語のニュアンスが正確に把握できません。 砕けて訳するには、言葉の入れ替えをすることです。この入れ替えは、以前からよく言っておりますが投稿などをして原稿を沢山書くことです。 昨日の星占いを例にします 獅子座：Your situation is competitive. competitiveは、競合的な、という事ですが言い換えますと、「ライバルが多い」ですね ですので、「今日は、ライバル同士の競い合いが激しい日」、とか「ライバルが沢山います」、でも良いですね 牡羊座：More excitement and greater risks are in your immediate future.英語は、関連のあることしか言いません上のexcitement と riskは、関係があります また、riskは、リスクでなくて、言い換えますと、一か八かのチャンス ですね のるかそるか、という事です 「スリル満点の、一か八かのチャンスがそこまで来ています。」ですね ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー 牡牛座：Get intense with left brain, right brain, yin-yang rituals.yin-yangとは、陰陽 のことですねつまり、日向と日陰、プラスとマイナス、右左という風に物事には、１対の要素があるという考え方が陰陽の考えです このyin-yangは、陰陽＝左右に関係があります。 left brain // right brainは、左脳、右脳 ですから 「頭をフル回転させて、物事のバランスを取って全力で頑張りなさい」という意味合いですね 上記の例に、内容を上手く取って訳せないと、「訳している」とはいえません。 言葉のsymbolで訳さないとなりません。ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー 重ねて、代名詞、he/she /theyなどを彼や、彼女、彼らと訳するのは良くありません 発話状況を重視して、田中さんとか家の主人とかあいつら、とか、あの方たちは、とか内容は、皆様にお任せしますので、具体的名称で訳する様にする事が英語理解の早道です ご参照ください。ご質問は何なりとどうぞ。 【Ken's Office】

＊know の正体
今回は、know という言葉の使い方をご紹介します：－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－『トムは、コンピューターに詳しいね！』と、英語では、どう言うでしょうか？「詳しい」＝be familiar with-- を思いつかれた方が多いかも知れません。学校の英語では慣用表現としてよく出てまいりますが、しかし、他にも意外に平易な言い方があります。know を使えば良いですね。You know a lot about computer. と言えば良いですね。* know とは、 「既に～を知っている」 という意味です。既に というニュアンスがあります。** know about -- =[～について、知っている]と言う事ですね。*** a lot とは、「たくさん、いっぱい、」という意味ですね。I know a lot about jazz. 「ジャズには詳しい」 となります。I know a lot about Tanaka-san.[田中さんの事は、良く知ってますよ]となります。I know very much about Miyamoto Musashi.「宮本武蔵の事はかなり詳しい」となりますね。ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー★では、応用問題★☆★ 『加藤氏について判る人は誰もいなかった』とは英語で どういうでしょうか？？No one knew about Mr. Kato.＊コツ「～について判るものはいなかった」という様な場合は、No one を主語にして言えば良いでしょう。No one は、「誰も～でない」と言う事ですね。「詳しいの逆」、つまり、「あまり知らない、詳しくない」、というのは、know little about と言えば良いですね。I know little about sambo.「サンボについては、あまり判りません」little は、元々、「大きさが小さい」、「量が少ない」という事ですが、know little となりますと、「少ししか知らない」という意味ではありませんで、「殆ど知らない」という意味合いになります。「知らない」同程度になります。We know little about the accident.その事故ですが、私らはあまり知らないんですよ。I know little about baseball, but I know a lot aboutfootball.「野球は判りませんが、サッカーは詳しいですよ。」となりますね。では、明日まで、ご質問は何なりと。 ここで、ご案内です：弊所では、次の講義を無償・有償で配信します 無料 １）人生理念、人生哲学、兵法戦略講義 無料 ２）News Headlinesの配信 無料 ３）英語星占いの配信 有償ーー４）月額千円のみの通信講座（主として、英検・トイク試験の対策です） 各々サンプルを送付しますので、希望者や検討したい方はご遠慮なくご連絡下さいませ。 ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー---------------------------------------------＜兵法・英語二刀一流＞末次通訳事務所 英語通訳 末次 賢治 拝

将棋思考（グーチョキパー将棋から）
最近の将棋教室では、本将棋よりも グーチョキパー将棋という、一種の簡易版将棋を 生徒に紹介して、これを通して、色々な応用事例を ご紹介しています。 グーチョキパー将棋は、覚え易く、3－5分で 指し方を把握できますので、全くの将棋初心者の方でも すぐにゲームを楽しむ事ができます。 王様1枚、グー3枚、パー3枚、チョキ3枚合計10枚が 自分の駒・陣となります。 並べ方は、自由で好きな様に並べる事ができます。 駒は、赤・青に色分けされていて、 取った駒は再使用できません。 相手の王様を詰めるか、同じ種類の駒を3枚取れば勝ちとなります。 駒の動きは、王様は、縦横斜めに何マスも動けます。 他の駒は、１マスずつ動きます。 「バックの出来ない金」と同じで、後には動けませんが、 左右の横、前方の３ヶ所に動けます。 グー・チョキ・パーの関係はじゃんけんの関係と同じです。 例えば、グーは、チョキを取れます。が、パーには取られます。 あいこ同志の場合は、取る事が出来ません。 教訓： ＊駒は、自分の戦力であり、財産です。 なるべく、駒を失う事なく、相手の駒を効率良く取る工夫が 必要です。 ＊また、逆に、ワザと駒を犠牲にして、これを捨てて、 より多くの相手の駒、或いは、 相手の王様に迫る手を指せます。 従って、初手は肝心です。初手は、私見ですが、なるべく相手から容易に取られない様な手を指すべきです。 或いは、作戦上、ワザと相手に駒を取らせて相手陣に肉薄する手を 指すのも一局です。 ＊どうして次の手を指してよいか判らない場合は、 相手の弱点、急所を突く指し方が、基本の考え方であり、重要な 手になります。 そもそも、勝負とは、スポーツでもゲームでも、 －相手の弱点、急所を突く事 －相手にフェイントをかけ、どっちつかずの状態に持込みます。 ＊グーチョキパー将棋は、自陣の駒の並べ方が自由なのですが、 無闇矢鱈に並べるのでなくて、 グー・チョキー・パーの連携を上手く取りながら、 配置すると、戦略的に良いです。 従って、「最初に戦略ありき」です。 ＊例えば、相手のチョキの駒が、自陣のグーの駒に当ったからと いって、それをすぐに取るのは、どうでしょうか？ －相手の駒を一枚確保できる反面、相手の言いなりになるという 結果になります。 ですので、相手の駒をすぐに取らずに、グーの駒を 補強する駒をとなりのマスに指したりする事が戦略上 大切です。 また、相手が自分の駒を取ってくれると考えがちですが、 相手が強いと、とらない場合が多々あります。 世の中はそんな思う通りには参りません。 ＊駒１枚で、相手に切り込むよりは、駒を複数連携させて、 サッカーの様に相互の連携を取りながら、複数の駒で相手を 攻める事や或いは、自陣の駒を複数連携を考えて、 「ヒモ」をつけながら structureを組み立てて、相手を圧迫するという手もあります。 従って、商売でも企画でも、物事は１つの要素を軸にして 進める様にするよりも、複数の要素を巻き込んで、或いは、 １人よりも関係者を複数人巻き込んで進めていく方が効率が 良く、成功に導き易いですね。 ＊この将棋は、１）相手の王様を詰めるか、 ２）同じ種類の駒を３枚取るかで 勝利できますので、途中から、どちらの方を優先するか、 早目に方針の的を絞る事が 大切です。 途中の局面で、相手の王様に詰め寄る方が良いか、 或いは、同じ種類の駒を ３枚取る方が早いのか、早く見極めて、 その早い方に的を絞って、作戦を展開する方が良いです。 ＊中盤ぐらいから、相手の王様を詰ます方向に作戦を行う際には、 先ずは、「詰み上がり」の局面を想定します。 そこから逆算して、「詰み上がり」局面に至る手を指す様に していけば、勝ちやすいですね。 混沌とした状態から「詰め」を求めるのは難しいです。 最初に具体的構想ありきですね。 つづく

Again
Ken's Diary on April 21stIt' back again.I have been suffering from its great pain and torturesince last night.It is gout.I've got shocked to know this fact, because I havetried my best not to let the symptoms of this diseaseever happen again by eating lots of vegetables.I could sleep a wink last night due to its pain.I had to take strong medicine to control the pain,but this means that I also have to suffer fromthe adverse side effects of the medicine.Ken

April 19th Ken's DiaryYesterday my order arrived here.I bought a compact sized -DVD Player with TVTuner built in it.So I can enjoy watching DVD movies, music,TV shows and so on.I am going to use this DVD function and showEnglish movies to my students in my English lessonsto teach them how to listen to English and improvetheir listening comprehension.Also, I will use Japanese movies with subtitlestelling my students to try to interpret Japanesesubtitled into English.Ladies and gentlemen, please look forward to thisnew style of lesson.This player is very compact and so is portable.I will bring this one to anywhere when I haveface to face English lesson with correspondencecourse students.Ken
