今日はサイモン＆ガーファンクルの 「サウンドオブサイレンス」
を何度も繰り返して聴いた。
古い歌だけど、知っている方も多いかもしれません。

今年もいろいろあったけど、一年間溜まった疲れを
癒すためには、こんな歌とかじゃないと僕は駄目なんだよ。

以前、僕のブログでも紹介した 「スカボロフェア」 と合わせて、
僕のお気に入りの歌の一つです。

人々は黙礼し　祈っている
彼らが創り上げたネオンの神に
ネオンサインは閃き　警告を発している
やがてそれは言葉となり
サインはこう告げる
「預言者の言葉は地下鉄の壁や
安アパートの玄関に書かれてある」
沈黙の音の中でささやいた
