A five-door body on the Dodge Caliber SUV Crossover does not yet have the new split-crosshair front grille that the updated Charger and Durango sport. The fender arches are disproportionately large, but the look is improved with the 18 inch alloy wheels that come standard. There are 7.67 inches of clearance from the ground, so passengers sit up comparatively high. Generally bulky and square, the Dodge Caliber SUV Crossover is ready to be refreshed with a more modern and sleeker look.

The interior is much better, though there is quite a bit of hard plastic. Drivers are easily able to access the stereo and the climate controls. Four adults fit easily, with plenty of headroom and legroom in the front. The backseat is tighter, but still competitive with its peers. Seats are comfortable and supportive in the front, and the rear seats recline. The Dodge Caliber SUV Crossover has more cargo area than sedans, with 18.4 cubic feet when all four seats are full. With the back seats folded down, there is a significant 47.4 cubic feet of space, giving plenty of transport capacity.

There are three trims available on the Dodge Caliber SUV Crossover, including the Caliber SE, the Caliber SXT, and the Caliber SXT Plus. Even the basic model has some nice standard features. Air conditioning comes complete with the Chill Zone beverage storage bin, and there are power door locks, power heated mirrors, and power windows. Cruise control adds convenience, as do the illuminated cup holders. The Media Center features SiriusXM Satellite Radio.
