The 2012 Audi R8 GT is only available in one trim package, which makes sense, given the limited production run. It includes the standard Audi care package, with a 4 year/50,000 mile warranty with 24 hour roadside assistance for four years. Some features are optional extras, but for the R8 GT, Audi actually included many amenities as standard. Navigation, Bluetooth, satellite radio, heated sports seats, LED headlamps and daytime running lights, and many others are included. Buyers can expect to spend some extra on optional extras like ceramic disc brakes, a Bang & Olufsen stereo, iPod integration, and all manner of extra carbon fiber or brushed aluminum trim.

The safety features available on the standard R8 are not available on the GT model, so drivers will have to go without adaptive cruise control and blind spot warnings. Don't let the Audi badge ensnare you, the car merits every dollar paid over the R8. You may experience a sacrificed ride comfort, but Audi engineers make up for it with stupendous handling.
