ProsThe Audi TT RS shows respectable fuel economy for so much power.

ProsAs a thoroughbred sports car, it is relieving to see that Audi fitted the TT RS with a manual gearbox.

ProsThe interior, though small, is well appointed and well designed.

ProsLimited availability makes ownership even more exciting.

ProsAll wheel drive and electronic stability control ensure traction in even the worst road conditions.

ProsCompared to other cars from the brand, the 2012 Audi TT RS is very well equipped and has only the most opulent (for a roadster) features as optional extras.

ProsMost cars in the class have a folding hard top, but the TT RS forgoes the option in favor of saving weight and adding reliability.

ConsThe Audi TT RS interior has a bit of a split personality. It has luxury features that do not match well with the spirit of the car, such as a 12 volt power outlet in the center console.

ConsThe TT RS will spoil drivers accustomed to the other TT variations. Any other roadster will be a let-down.

ConsAudi will only produce 1,000 of these cars per year, so only the quick and the lucky will get to own one.

ConsThe 2+2 seating arrangement is a waste of space and engineering, as the rear seats are more of a well-upholstered storage area.

ConsVague steering disconnects the driver from the road.
