The 2012 Hyundai Accent Sedan is another example of the fact that size does not matter. The subcompact car may look small on the outside, but wait until you see the interior and what's under the hood. You'll be surprised how Hyundai managed to fit all of these big features in a compact, budget-friendly car like the newest Hyundai Accent Sedan.

With the all-new Hyundai Accent, the Korean car-maker is once again successful in providing an improved version that offers better design on the exterior, a more spacious interior, improved performance, and superior fuel efficiency; actually declared best in its class.

The first look at the Hyundai Accent will give you the impression that the exterior design displays a great resemblance to a competitor model, the Ford Fiesta. But after a closer look, you will see that the small, detailed styling gives the sedan the Hyundai signature. The concave lens, projector beam headlights, and the sculpted design adds a sporty look and the elegance of higher-end cars.

Under the hood, the 2012 Hyundai Accent Sedan is powered by a 1.6 Liter Gamma 16 valve direct injection engine that is equipped with the most modern engine technology. This makes the Hyundai Accent a leader in its class with an estimated 123 torque and 138 horsepower. But the really impressive feature of the Hyundai Accent is the superior fuel efficiency of 30-city/40-highway-mpg fuel rating. The GDI, or gamma direct injection, engine permits the sedan to have a better fuel efficiency while reducing the operation cost and improving the sedan's reliability. The all-new and improved Hyundai Accent comes in different models, but the base model is a 4-door sedan with 6-speed manual or automatic transmission, 4-wheel disc brakes, and 14" steel wheels that come with wheel covers. Even with a subcompact style like this, you can still experience one heck of a ride.

The base interior provides more space for passengers. There is plenty of room for cargo, especially if you choose the 5-door sedan model. The basic features like AM/FM/Mp3 audio system, wireless Bluetooth connectivity, USB/iPod ports, and eco driving display are available for the base model. Spare the extra money to upgrade to power windows and air conditioning.

However, there are some flaws in the Hyundai Accent, two of which are the steering wheel and the rear mirror view. Also, the basic model does not come with air conditioning and power windows, which is usually offered by competitors.

If you're looking for value in a subcompact car that is fuel efficient, Hyundai's latest Accent model is the right fit. This subcompact sedan is perfect for mid-sized families looking for a spacious vehicle and individuals looking for that luxurious, sporty look that is not heavy on the budget.
