The 2012 edition of the Hyundai Genesis Coupe is relatively the same as the 2011 model. This car still has some of its impressive design features, but it has changed slightly based on some of the many engine options that come with the vehicle.

The Hyundai Genesis Coupe features a strong body that can accelerate quickly without any issues. This works very well alongside the 18-inch wheels on the car. The vehicle also has a very comfortable ride. The suspension moves carefully and works with shock absorbers that are fully pressurized to help keep the ride as relaxed as possible.

The inside of the car does not have too many changes to it for 2012. The rear seats are made with wide spots to make it easy for two adults to fit into the area. An impressive 49.2 inches of hip room are included in the back seats. This is not as much as the 56 inches in the front, but it makes it easier for people to sit in the back seat without any issues.

One attractive point about the Hyundai Genesis Coupe that makes it very easy to handle is its proximity key. This works in that the user can move the key to the proper vehicle and then open a locked door without having to push anything. A start button can then activate the engine. This is provided that the proximity key is located near the vehicle and that key matches up with the transponder that is inside the vehicle being triggered in the process.

The 2012 Hyundai Genesis 3.6 is powered by a 3.8-liter V-6 engine that offers 335 horsepower and 291 pound-feet of torque. It accelerates zero to 60 mph in 6.4 seconds with help from its eight-speed automatic transmission and returns 19 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway. The Genesis 4.6 is equipped with a 4.6-liter V-8 engine that produces 378 horsepower and 324 pound-feet of torque. Finally, the Genesis 5.0 boasts a 5.0-liter direct-injected V-8 engine that is motivated by 429 horsepower and 376 pound-feet of torque.

The safety features in the Hyundai Genesis Coupe include stability and traction control. These are used to ensure that the vehicle can respond properly in the event that there are any issues on the road with regards to how it is being steered. Other safety features include turn signal mirrors, self-leveling headlights, pre-collision safety system and child seat anchors.
