Acura Sedan Reviews

Honda 's luxury brand Acura has always been known for building quality, reliable vehicles. Their sedan lineup offers several options for drivers of all types. For the 2012 year, luxury brand Acura is offering three sedan models: the Acura RL, the Acura TL, and the Acura TSX sedan. The Acura RL is the American version of Acura's very first vehicle: the Legend. The Legend (RL) has been manufactured since the company's inception in 1986 and continues to be one of Acura's most popular cars. A medium-sized sedan, it garners 24 mpg on the highway and 38 mpg in the city. The RL also boasts a VTEC V-6 engine and gets 300 horsepower. Pricing for the 2012 RL starts at $47,700 and ranges to the Advance Package sedan price $55,650. In between these two prices lies the Technology Package RL which is priced around $51,850.The RL is great for families with its spacious interior, or for individuals looking for a comfortable ride to and from work. The RL's standard features are incredible and include: a Bose Surround Sound System, USB/iPod Integration, a voice-activated navigation system, HID headlights, and a comprehensive warranty package. The RL sedan also comes with several impressive optional features which are sure to give the driver tons of options to make him/her feel more comfortable and at home in the cabin. The 2012 Acura Sedan's competitors include the Infiniti M and the Mercedes-Benz E-Class. Both are pricier than the RL.

The Acura TL is the Acura RL's little brother and originally debuted in America in 1995. It's also a medium-bodied sedan, but it includes several new, higher tech features that the RL doesn't. The TL SH-AWD comes with even more powerful attributes than the standard TL. The standard version starts at $35,605 and can be leased from $369. The TL SH-AWD has an MSRP of $40,015. Both of these prices include an $860 shipping charge. The standard SL gets a combined fuel-efficiency rating of 23 mpg, while the supped-up version gets around 20 mpg combined. Optional surround sound, song by voice, and advanced navigation and standard Bluetooth capability really take the TL to the next level. This Acura sedan's competition are the 2011 BMW 3 Series Sedan 335i, the 2012 Lexus ES 350, and the 2012 Infiniti G Sedan 37 Journey.

Last but certainly not least is the Acura TSX, which also comes in a sport wagon variant. The sedan comes in comes in several variants. The 5-Speed automatic version starts at only $29,810, the TSX Special Edition 5-Speed automatic starts at $30,810, the TSX Special Edition with 6-Speed Manual starts at $30,810, the TSX 5-Speed AT equipped with Technology Package starts at $32,910, the TSX V-6 starts at $35,350, and TSX V-6 equipped with Technology Package starts around $38,450. The TSX's greatest competitors are the 2012 Audi A4 2.0T Premium Sedan, the 201 BMW 3 Series Sedan, and the 2012 Lexus IS 250 RWD Sedan. Spectacular features in the Acura TSX include USB and iPod integration, as well as hands-free Bluetooth and Automatic Climate Control.
