THE NEW JERSEY CAREER ASSISTANCE NAVIGATOR (NJCAN)
NJCAN was created to assist New Jersey residents on their journey of career exploration. It provides accurate, comprehensive, current, and relevant occupational, educational, and financial aid information. NJCAN contains the latest national, New Jersey and local labor market data and projections.
NJCAN includes multiple career assessments to help you discover careers that are matched to your personality type simply by answering a few questions! Choose from the Interest Profiler Short Form or the Career Cluster Inventory to link your interests and strengths to career options and their related majors. Check out the Reality Check to see how much money you would need to make in order to support your desired lifestyle, and more!
NJCAN also includes:

NJCAN is designed to support lifelong career exploration, and career planning and decision-making through easy to use, straightforward search and sorting utilities, and an online portfolio for saving information from all system components.
To access NJCAN, go to njcan.org or click on the image below:
For students and alumni : to create an account, please email careerservices@ucc.edu with your name and Owl’s Nest email address, and we will create the account for you, which will give you full access to all of the tools and resources in NJCAN. We will email you your username and password for you to access your account.
All other NJ Residents can utilize most of the resources in NJCAN without the ability to save and personalize your experience. Under NJCAN Login, select NJ Resident , then choose your city/town and enter your zip code.
