The NFL's free agency negotiating begins on Monday, but the Denver Broncos have already been busy making in-house moves.
Following the end of their 2024 regular season earlier this year, the Broncos signed 14 players to reserve/future contracts. Those players will officially join the 90-man offseason roster when the new league year begins next Wednesday.
More recently, Denver signed five exclusive rights free agents to one-year tenders on Tuesday. The Broncos are bringing back cornerback Ja'Quan McMillian, pass rusher Dondrea Tillman , tight end Lucas Krull , defensive lineman Jordan Jackson and safety Devon Key on league-minimum contracts.
For McMillian and Krull, those ERFA tenders are worth $1.03 million as third-year players. Tillman, Jackson and Key will earn $960,000 as second-year players.
Between the reserve/future deals and the ERFA tenders, Denver has brought back 19 in-house players so far. The Broncos also have 13 players scheduled to become unrestricted free agents next week.
