Axel Disasi awaits final call after Chelsea and West Ham agreement
An update on the situation was shared publicly by Fabrizio Romano , confirming that negotiations between the clubs have already been settled.
"West Ham are waiting for Axel Disasi's final answer on the transfer after verbal agreement with Chelsea over loan deal," he wrote.
The agreement in principle means Chelsea are prepared to sanction a loan for Disasi to pursue regular playing time elsewhere.
Until Disasi provides his response, however, the move remains paused at the final hurdle.

Why Axel Disasi is a priority target for West Ham United
Disasi arrived at Chelsea with strong credentials but has found competition for places intense, limiting his ability to establish a consistent role.
A loan move would offer him the opportunity to reset, gain minutes, and play a central role in a demanding Premier League environment.
West Ham view Disasi as a player capable of adding physical presence, aerial strength, and composure under pressure.
From Chelsea's perspective, allowing Disasi to leave on loan helps manage squad balance while keeping long-term options open.
With the clubs aligned and only the player's decision outstanding, the coming days will determine whether the deal is completed before the deadline.
