Sturm confirmed Hagens, who made his NHL debut on Sunday, will be in the lineup once again for Boston 's regular-season finale Tuesday against the New Jersey Devils . It will mark Hagens' TD Garden debut.
"He will be playing. And then we'll decide (about the playoffs)," Sturm said . "Who we're going to play (in the first round) might be in play, too. You just never know."
Hagens had an impactful debut for the Bruins in their 3-2 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets . The 2025 first-round pick took 19 shifts, had 13:08 of ice time and was a +1.
The 19-year-old was credited with an assist on Henri Jokiharju 's go-ahead goal in the second period that started with a Hagens forecheck and pinning Denton Mateychuk to the boards.
