A familiar face to Bruins fans helped give the Hurricanes a 2-0 series lead over the Flyers in their second-round series.
Taylor Hall forced his way to the slot and fell down on his initial shot. After he got his footing back he was able to get the puck by Dan Vladar with 1:06 left in overtime.
"I didn't realize that I fell down and then put it in," Hall told reporters after the game . "When you score in overtime, it seems like parts of your memory kind of go.
"It was a gritty goal. I didn't do a very good job of attacking tonight personally," he continued . "I got that puck, and I just wanted to get to the middle of the ice as much as I could."

The former Bruins forward has been a steady presence for Carolina this season. Hall played in 80 games with 18 goals and 30 assists.
The 34-year-old knows he's not the player he once was and has adjusted his game to make sure he can continue to contribute to his team and not become a liability on the ice.
"The one thing about (Hall) that we know is he wants to make a difference, and that goal sums it up for me," Hurricanes coach Rod Brind'Amour said . "You could just almost tell when he grabbed it, like, 'I'm going to try to put this away.'"
The Hurricanes, who swept the Ottawa Senators in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs, have now won six straight playoff games.
