- LSU women's basketball steamrolls Missouri for SEC win – Live updates
BATON ROUGE – Early in the second quarter, Kim Mulkey had Mikaylah Williams playing the five in a four-out lineup with Jada Richard, Flau'jae Johnson, MiLaysia Fulwiley and Bella Hines around the perimeter.
It's the first time Mulkey has gone to that small of a lineup this season. But as Missouri stubbornly sat in a matchup, 3-2 zone, No. 7 LSU women's basketball opted for speed off missed baskets and creating different matchups.
The small lineups, plural, had Mizzou in a blender as LSU quickly pulled away to a 108-55 victory Sunday inside Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
MORE LSU WBB COVERAGE Why Mikaylah Williams didn't play for LSU vs Ole Miss in second half
LSU (24-4, 10-4 SEC) raced out to a 32-point halftime lead after playing Missouri to a 9-9 tie in the first five minutes of the game.
After not playing in the second half at Ole Miss Thursday, Williams scored 8 points in the opening period. Later, senior star Johnson scored 10 straight points in the second to extend the lead.
Fellow star MiLaysia Fulwiley recorded her first career double-double with a game-high 22 points and 11 rebounds. Freshman ZaKiyah Johnson finished with 17 points and 13 rebounds, 10 of those offensive boards. Flau'jae Johnson ended up with 16 points and Hines had a career-high 11 points.
LSU's defense limited Mizzou to just 23% shooting, just 14 made baskets, as it struggled to get anything going. As a team, LSU finished with 72 rebounds.

MiLaysia Fulwiley has knocked five 3's and has recorded her first career double double, 17 points, 10 rebounds. She's got four assists, too.

This one just isn't fair. ZaKiyah Johnson has 10 offensive rebounds alone. Her 17 points and 12 rebounds paces LSU in this game.
LSU has five players in double figures.
HALF | No. 7 LSU 54 Missouri 22
Just shear domination from LSU in that first half. ZaKiyah Johnson and Flau'jae Johnson each have 11 points. Z is one rebound away from a double double. Every LSU player but Amiya Joyner has scored a bucket today and that's because Mulkey went small the majority of that first half.
7:57 2Q | No. 7 LSU 29 Missouri 15
Williams has spent a lot of time at the four time. The lineup Kim had right before this timeout has Flau'jae Johnson playing the four and Williams at the 5 -- a four-out with Williams playing side.
Mulkey using Missouri as a guinea pig today.
END 1 | No. 7 LSU 23 Missouri 14
In the last 3:34 of that first quarter, star Mikaylah Williams came alive, scoring 8 points. Kim has got her playing the four and it looking like a the best lineup today. She's a total mismatch for Mizzou today down there.
4:10 1Q | No. 7 LSU 9 Missouri 9
Kellie Harper has come out of a 3-2 matchup zone. ZaKiyah Johnson is dominating the glass, especially on the offensive end. She's just not been able to finish on the putback. But those will come.
