- LSU's Lane Kiffin Exchanges Messages with No. 1 Transfer Portal Player from Colorado
The LSU Tigers ' search for offensive line help has intensified this winter, as Lane Kiffin's program looks to recover from major roster losses ahead of the 2026 season.
Kiffin's debut campaign has featured an aggressive push through the transfer portal after the program lost over three dozen players from the 2025 squad during this cycle.

One of the top priorities in that rebuild has become Colorado Buffaloes transfer Jordan Seaton, who has emerged as one of the most coveted names in the country after entering the portal earlier this month.
A former five-star recruit out of IMG Academy, Seaton started 22 games over his two years at Colorado and earned All– Big 12 honors in 2025, entering the portal as the No. 4 overall player and best OT among those available, per 247Sports .
Seaton visited LSU on Sunday, arriving in Baton Rouge after stops at Miami and Mississippi State earlier last week.

The trip included time at Tiger Stadium with head coach Kiffin, and Seaton openly showed his adventures on social media during his visit. The offensive lineman took to Instagram and shared a few stories, including one showing a picture taken on the LSU field alongside Kiffin, flashing the "L" hand sign.
Just 15 minutes later, Kiffin posted a cryptic message on X with a single tiger emoji, leading to instant speculation among fans and media in a message that might hint at Seaton's upcoming commitment to the Tigers.

Before doing that, Kiffin had already reposted an LSU-related account post that had quoted Seaton's photo alongside him on the field, adding a meme in response , captioned "Cookie is calling you to (Baton Rouge)."
Seaton's market value has been widely discussed, with On3's Shannon Terry placing it "between $3.5 and $4.0 million" in this transfer portal cycle.

Adding pressure to Seaton's suitors, LSU's deadline for enrollment is set for Tuesday, meaning the Tigers are expected to push for his commitment to happen before that date so he can get to school as early as possible and be available from the get-go.

LSU, which already ranks No. 1 in 247Sports' transfer portal team rankings is expected to face competition from the Oregon Ducks , who have a visit from Seaton scheduled for Monday — if he makes it there.
