In the NFL, it's common for loyal players to follow trusted coaches to greener pastures in free agency — which may be the case for Pittsburgh Steelers All-Pro Miles Killebrew and now- Tampa Bay Buccaneers special teams coordinator Danny Smith .
According to a report from Joyce Hanz of the Tribune-Review, Killebrew, who's set to become a free agent, put his Pennsylvania home on the market. And he relocated to — you guessed it — Tampa, Florida, where some believe he's destined to reunite with Smith.
Killebrew began his career with the Lions as primarily a special teamer. He joined Smith and the Steelers in 2021, where the respected coach helped Killebrew reach new heights — being named First-Team All-Pro and to a pair of Pro Bowls during his time in Pittsburgh.
While Killebrew's free agency decision hasn't been confirmed, players often sell their homes when planning to find a new team in free agency. And given his ties to Smith, one of the most beloved special teams coaches in the league, it's easy to see why some are connecting the dots.
