The Rockies’ Tyler Freeman took the brunt of Brewers star pitcher Jacob Misiorowski’s record-setting night on the mound Saturday.

Patrick Bailey hit a solo home run, Joey Cantillo threw 5 2/3 shutout innings and the Cleveland Guardians extended their winning streak to six games with a 3-1 victory over the Detroit Tigers on Thursday. Brayan Rocchio had three hits, including two doubles, and scored a run. Daniel Schneemann and Jose Ramirerz drove in the other runs for the Central Division-leading Guardians, who completed a four-game series sweep.

Pinch hitter Tyler Freeman hit an RBI single in the 10th inning and the Colorado Rockies beat the Toronto Blue Jays 2-1 on Wednesday. Troy Johnston had two hits, including a game-tying single in the eighth, as the Rockies won their first series of the season. Colorado is 3-12 all-time in Toronto.

This could've gone better.

Fantasy Baseball analyst Scott Pianowski recommends a pair of Rockies hitters to add off the waiver wire this week.
