The Academy of Dance offers instruction in classical ballet for beginners through pre-professionals. Our holistic program includes ballet technique, pointe, variations, body conditioning, character, jazz, and modern improvisation, all with a kinsesiology-based approach to technique. Many of our alumni have gone on to join professional dance companies or college programs. For young dancers, we have a pre-ballet program that provides age-appropriate training in the fundamentals of movement which serve as the foundation for our formal program. We also host a local junior company, Spokane Youth Ballet, and collaborate with them in an annual concert in June.
