Fruitlands Museum is a group of museums that constitute the Fruitlands farmhouse that was a mascot for the ideas of communal living by means of individual sovereignty, started in the State by Amos Alcott and Charles Lane. There's also the Shakers' Museum, the Native American Museum tracing the origins and first people of America, and their life and culture, and an Art Museum displaying landscape paintings of the Hudson River School, and the Wayside Visitor Centre, for knowledge regarding the environs and geology of the Fruitlands.

Beginners can come and learn mosaic basics. Advanced artisans of all types can come to enhance their skills and bask in the plethora of substrates (bases), tesserae (pieces), tools, colors and grout types needed to bring your creative thoughts to life.
