I am a unique teacher because I see myself as a teacher before a musician. I have a lot of experience teaching in a variety of contexts, from babies to teens to adults. I am also super organized. I use approachable visuals and charts for guitar and ukulele. For guitar, I use Susan Palmer’s method books to structure lessons. I love working with kids and adults. I have lots of fun games for kids, and I make sure to teach them the same fundamentals as adults (in an age-appropriate way). I’ve taught group lessons, private lessons, and summer camps at 2 music schools and privately since 2019. You can find out more about what I specifically teach on my website. In addition to teaching, I am also available for wedding gigs. I can provide 1 hour of ceremony or reception music. I play multi-genre oldies and contemporary love songs from multiple countries and cultural backgrounds arranged in classical/fingerstyle guitar (everything is instrumental, but I can sing if needed!) I am a woman and LGBTQIA+ owned business, and I am excited to work with people of diverse racial and cultural backgrounds, ages and sexual orientations!

I also help prepare successfully for ABRSM, exams, auditions, competitions and can help students with very advanced level for more serious goals. I judge local& international music exams, taught more than 200 kids in my career, and also just got certified as a Suzuki teacher for piano and voice. I believe music is an international language and great tool in expressing ourselves:) .
