An open and inclusive community, Gan Shalom is a Jewish preschool serving families who are affiliated with various Jewish denominations, are secular, or interfaith. Located in central Berkeley, children enjoy a play-based curriculum within a beautiful new building designed and organized according to Reggio Emilia-inspired principles. Our program operates from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM and is accepting new enrollees ages 2 to 5. Gan Shalom provides the opportunity for cognitive development and playtime, self-esteem and Jewish identity.
