Cambridge Nursery School is a cooperative preschool for children 2 years and 9 months through 5 years. We believe that children learn much of what they need to know through play; their play is their work. The school provides an environment where a sense of wonder can flourish and where order and predictability are balanced by flexibility and freedom to experiment. As a cooperative, we are committed to working with parents and teachers to provide a positive school experience for children. Together we create a community of support for children, parents and teachers.

At Sweet Family Daycare Wonderschool, we understand that what parents value most is knowing that their children are safe, well cared for and that they are learning and developing as whole beings. As a small cooperative, we rely both on a committed staff and parent involvement to give the children caring individual attention. Our philosophy is that children learn best through creative play and the ability to experiment with a wide variety of learning materials and discover how things work. We create an extended family atmosphere by having parent participation in the classrooms as well as sharing a home cooked meal. Teachers emphasize age-appropriate social interactions, cultural awareness, and learning non-violent problem solving skills - all with an eye towards enhancing a child's positive self image. By following the Creative Curriculum model, we encourage creative development and offer anti-bias, emergent curriculum.
