Paths of Learning Daycare & Preschool is a bilingual daycare located in Arlington, MA. We provide full-time and part-time childcare, Spanish immersion, nutritious meals, outdoor play, and a play-based curriculum inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy. The Kendall School (est. in 1931) mission is to provide a nurturing, creative and enriching experience for pre-school age children that encourages positive self-esteem and the eagerness to learn. It also provides an opportunity for children to form strong and supportive relationships with children and adults outside of the home. The Kendall School creates an inclusive environment that encourages childrens natural curiosity while equipping them with the skills and confidence needed to embrace the transition into Kindergarten. Our program philosophy is guided by the principles of Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP). We work toward fostering the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive needs of children by offering both child directed and teacher directed activities. Curiosity, exploration, and sharing are nurtured and encouraged. The Kids' Cooperative of Cambridge is a 100% parent-run cooperative playgroup for children aged 18 months to 4 years old. The fifteen member families are a community seeking a healthy, structured exploration and play environment for their children while providing some child-free time for parents. A Coop day includes free imaginative play, music and stories, snack, art/craft time and gross motor time while the kids socialize with peers under the supervision of other adults. We are located in Davis Square and currently include families from Somerville, Arlington and Medford, as well as Cambridge.
