This is a Mediterranean style villa that is filled with treasures. It has a house museum and is a center for music performances. Walter Rosen, a collector, bought the Caramoore estate to house all his precious things. Sprawled across 100 acres, there is a beautiful Italian garden and rows of tall cedars. In 1945 Caramoore estate was bequeathed as a center for music. The House Museum is open for tours only by appointment.
Westchester County Center, located along Central Avenue, is witness to all the happenings in and around White Plains. Home to Westchester Knicks playing in the NBA G League, New York Liberty playing in the WNBA and New York Streets playing in the National Arena League, Westchester County Center plays host to exciting basketball and indoor football matches on a regular basis. ArtsWestchester is an art gallery that showcases talents of local artists through exhibitions and performances. It is one of the largest not-for-profit organization, of the state, that strives to provide opportunities to every section of the society to participate in art. It includes a building named Arts Exchange, formerly known as People's National Bank, where artists create, mingle and showcase their work. Visit them to join their training session on creative art. The premier art institution is working to weave arts into the fabric of Westchester life.
