Ashley Watkins Coaching

I’m Ashley Watkins, ACC, M.A.T. - a Young Adult Empowerment Coach, Human Design coach, and former high school journalism and English teacher with 20+ years of experience helping others grow into the most empowered version of themselves. My journey began in the classroom, where I first focused on teaching reading, writing, and grammar. But over time, I discovered that my true passion was in supporting teens and young adults through the emotional and social challenges that shape their lives, helping them build confidence, resilience, and strong relationships. Today, I coach both teens and adults through life’s key transitions: moving from middle school to high school, high school to college, building leadership skills, navigating relationships, and now, through Human Design, helping adults better understand how they’re wired to work, lead, and thrive.

Affirmations Life Coach Center provides different types of coaching experiences. Coaching is a process where a coach supports a person to achieve a specific personal or professional goal by providing training and guidance, while counseling is a process where a counselor provides assistance and guidance to a person in resolving personal or psychological problems. Coaching focuses on a person’s present situation, and a coach works on developing those personal strengths and utilizing their untapped potential for a better future. On the other hand, counselling deals with past traumas and scars.
