Stretched over a massive area of 79 acres, Pondhawk Natural Area houses a great variety of scrub and wildlife. The reserve is home to few of the tallest pond apple trees in Florida. The area is ideal for hiking and trails. It is common that you may spot beautiful birds and wildlife as you undertake the adventurous journey. The area accommodates an 8 acre wetland restoration project which serves as a home for black-necked stilt, white ibis and osprey.

Serenoa Glade is amongst the highest elevated forest reserves which is a part of Atlantic Coastal Ridge. The area is ideal for trails and hiking. You can also find restrooms, picnic areas, playgrounds, and basketball and tennis courts when you reach George Snow park inside.
