David Davis Mansion or the Clover Lawn as its more locally known is a National Historic Landmark. It is a fine example of Italianate and Victorian style architectures. Built in 1872, it was the home of David Davis and is now a state museum.
Lincoln Oak Memorial is near to the Vrooman Mansion. The oak tree was significant as Abraham Lincoln and Stephen A. Douglas had used the shade of the tree for their many speeches. However the tree died in 1976. A plaque was built in 1914 to the original tree which is still stands. A replacement tree was planted in 1980.
