Hart-Dole-Inouye Federal Center is a complex of more than 20 buildings, located in Battle Creek, MI. The place dates back to 1866, when it was first established as a healing center, Western Health Reform Institute, wherein the Adventist-prescribed medical practices were used to treat patients. Over the years, the place has played several roles, among which it's function as the Battle Creek Sanitarium is regarded as quite significant. Later on, in 1942, the building was used as the Percy Jones Army Hospital, where the American soldiers of World War II (and later Korean War) were treated. As of today, Hart-Dole-Inouye Federal Center is a part of the prestigious Public Buildings Service Heritage Program.
