North Buffalo

Centered on Hertel Avenue and running between Main and Elmwood with the Kenmore village line to the north, this neighborhood is a mix of residential areas and the Hertel Avenue business strip. This one-mile stretch includes everything from cafes to antique shops, unusual gift boutiques and ethnic restaurants such as Ristorante Lombardo. The neighborhood features the North Park Theatre, Buffalo's best-known cinema for independent films.
